Communication exercise #1:

You should now print this page or simply record your personal score and your rating of your spouse. Now have your spouse complete this Marriage Meter.  And, compare your personal score with your spouse’s personal score using the table below. Find your personal rating in the left column. Then, identify the column representing the range in which your spouse’s personal score fell. Once you have identified these two points, discuss with your spouse the results.

Communication exercise #2:

How closely did you and your spouse’s beliefs about each other mimic your actual scores? Discuss these results with your spouse as well.
