What We Do
Discovering Family International (DFI) promotes excellence in family life education. The DFI perspective of “family” extends beyond blood kinship into the interconnected network of relationships with our neighbors across the globe. The DFI mandate is to enrich the lives of our neighbors in cultures across the globe by bridging theological truths, psychological precepts, cultural sensitivities, and economic empowerment. Our objective at DFI is to be an agent of transformation for individuals, couples, and families domestically and internationally by enabling them to discover within themselves the power and purpose for which they were created. DFI provides access to information and resources to accomplish this mission through workshops and conferences as well through the dissemination of electronic and printed resources.
DFI core strengths encompass three programming streams each aimed at empowering individuals, couples, families, and organizations to discover the bounty of God’s provision through authentic relationships.
Discover Marriage
DFI’s Marriage ROCKS™ program is a three-part marriage enrichment and ministry program designed to provide pre-engaged, engaged, and married couples with the tools to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of their relationship, to become advocates for authentic growth in their relationship, and to develop a ministry partnership which with their spouses.
In addition to the Marriage ROCKS™ program, DFI also offers a variety of seminar options that promote healthy marriages:
- Pre-marital relationship assessment
- Communication strategies
- Marriage enrichment
DFI can work with you to develop custom marriage enrichment workshops based on the unique characteristics, demographics, and needs of your organization.
Discover Wealth
DFI’s core wealth building program, Managing the Marriage-Money Me$$, offers a unique perspective on the true meaning of wealth and provides interactive sessions on how to cultivate your marriage as a primary tool for achieving financial and intangible riches.
In addition to the Managing the Marriage-Money Me$$™ program, DFI offers a series of seminars to advance the level of financial acumen from novice to savvy financial and asset management:
